How would you travel around Cape Town?

How about a trip to the bottom of Table Mountain on the back of a Harley Davidson? What a wonderful sight. There are few experiences as powerful as a pack of leather-clad bikers roaring past on shiny Harleys. You could be chauffeur driven in a long and noisy convoy through the scenic streets of Cape Town along the Atlantic Seaboard.

‘It is not how fast you go, but how good you look going slow.’

If motorbikes are not your thing, then how about going by Jeep? These open topped, all-terrain vehicles are a fun, exhilarating ride in themselves.

Once at Table Mountain, you can ascend (if brave enough) via the rotating cable car with absolutely stunning views over Cape Town, Table Bay & Robben Island to the north and the Atlantic Seaboard to the south.

Another way to experience the breath-taking views is via a Helicopter tour. There is truly no better way to appreciate the totality of Cape Town’s beauty than from above.

A handful of scenic flights are on offer, from the Hopper tour that cruises along the Atlantic Seaboard, to the Cape Point flip that beats its way to the most south-western tip of the continent and back.

So, we have covered Land and Air, what about Sea? Well, why not consider The Marine Eco Adventure, a 90-minute fun and fast ride aboard a RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) along the Cape Town coastline to see a large variety of marine life. Watch for whales, African penguins, Cape fur seals, dolphins, basking sharks, sunfish, and many species of birdlife.

Adrenaline plus an eco-tour makes this a real Ocean Safari. With an hour on the water, you can reach Seal Island and beyond. Routing depends on the experienced skipper who uses his local knowledge and takes weather and sea conditions into account. The boat is not moving at speed all the time, as you spend time moving slowly and are sometimes stationary as you take in the sights.

An excellent alternative to the Whale Watching Cruise when the whales have left our shores.

Any or all of these can be added to any incentive or event you are arranging in Cape Town with our DMC Partner, Urban Ginga, so please do contact us at Pearl and we can help with any enquiry you have.
